Aliens attack earth?

http://news.asiaone.com/News/Latest+News/Asia/Story/A1Story20101227-254977.html

A report by the Search for Extraterrestrial Intelligence (SETI) in the United States said that there are three giant spaceships which are heading towards Earth.

According to the Russian Pravda news, the SETI, a non-commercial organization said that the largest one of the three spaceships is 240 kilometers wide, and the two others are smaller.

It further stated that currently, the objects are beyond the orbit of Pluto and will reach Earth in December 2012.

Is earth under threat from external beings? Well, Russian Pravda news said that SETI, has reported that spaceships are fast closing in onto earth and will reached by December 2012, the date where many believed that the earth will fall, well, is this true? Personally i believe that aliens do exist but to me, why would they attack human if we did not disturb them? well, maybe people from top intelligence had tried communicating with aliens or tried invading other planets to try and live in them, but has risked the wrath of such aliens and thus they are out to destroy us.

Well, many people believed that the end of the world would be caused by natural disaster such as an widespread earthquake, massive tsunami , volcano eruptions or even hailstorms, but it might seems like it would be the end of us through an alien attack.

Suicide note

http://sg.news.yahoo.com/ann/20101219/tap-feature-heartbreak-in-facebook-world-aee7c44.html

Suicide note passed on facebook but nobody took action.

A malaysian man wrote a suicide note and nobody tried to stop him except his sister, isn't social networking supposed to be helpful and alert people of his suicidal thoughts instead of just 'liking' the post? well, he has gathered 206 likes on the status update and soon later he was found dead at the bottom of his block.
Well, if only a small percentage of the 206 people actually bothered to talk to him and asked him about the problem, he might have been alive right now. Perhaps he was trying to gather support from his friends on facebook and was looking for people to talk to, however nobody supported him and he committed suicide.

Well, to me, he should have not committed suicide and lived on, well. Life's short, Paddle hard.

Toons gone looney?

http://www.teamtalk.com/newcastle-united/6563258/Toon-confirm-Pardew-appointment

Alan Pardew, ex west-ham and reading manager has moved into the St James' Park hot-seat following the shock departure of boss Chris Hughton on Monday, Chris Hughton whom had guided Newcastle to the Championship title and promotion back to the top flight at the first attempt last season.

What has led to the dismissal of Chris Hughton, many would ask. A club whom had went down to the championship the previous season, the club chairman, Mike Ashley, had made a wise appointment of Chris Hughton, who did not let him down by leading newcastle to a instant promotion with the first position of the coca cola championship title, not by defensive, boring, tactical football, but football which many would envy, the attacking flow and with the famous quote, attack to defend, Chris Hughton definitely did them proud, and it was in the light of many star players such as Shay Given and Michael Owen leaving the club, allowing him to use young stars from the club.

Up in the Premier Division of the english league, Chris Hughton did well by maintaining the club in the top half, before a string of bad results, with just 2 points out of the 15 available taken, Mike Ashley had done the unthinkable, like before, sacking Chris Hughton just like how he did to Toon's legends, Kevin Keegan and Alan Shearer.

Now with the five and a half year contract that Alan Pardew has been offered, will he face the sack again if he had a run of bad results, or would mike ashley finally keey his faith with the 'more experienced' manager that he has been looking for?

True or not?

WikiLeak, a 'wiki' for all the leaks of top classified documents strictest conditions regarding conversations between world leaders , Wikileak has leaked news that MM lee has called North korean leader Kim Jong II a flabby old chap who seeks attention. Such information that is highly sensitive was leaked on the internet, will it cause chaos?

Wikileak has caused a growing threat to singapore as it has released such damaging statements on the North Korean government, which might lead to war as Kim Jong II would not take such a matter lightly, well who would liked to be called a flabby old chap? As the war between North Korea and South korea go on, it might lead to a bigger war and singapore might be dragged into it due to WikiLeak.

Personally i feel that WikiLeak has done a very life-threatening situtation as such comments will lead to tensions between the two countries and that LKY would have to release a press statement to clear his name if not chaos would prevail and it could possibly lead to world war three.

Money = Happiness?

http://sg.yfittopostblog.com/2010/11/24/ex-m1-staff-stole-3400-high-end-smartphones/

According to court documents filed by M1 last week, Mr Matthew Yeo Kay Keng, 35, has apparently been stealing handsets since 2008, and using the money he got through their sales to buy luxury cars and designer watches, reported The Straits Times (ST).

Mr Yeo, who deals with corporate clients, allegedly took 154 handsets in 2008, 625 in 2009 and 2,635 this year by cooking up fake sales orders.

Mr Matthew Yeo was caught by M1 for stealing over thousands of handphones from it's shops and selling it for his personal benefits, paying for luxuries such as a Porsche car worth $430000+, a pet stingray worth $200000, a pet arowana worth $160000 and watches worth $50000 each.

This article just proves how important it is for a guy to have the '5Cs', which is condominium(which he was staying in one), Car(the Porsche), Credit card, Cash(with such money definitely he had credit cards), and country club memberships. He had to resort to such methods to obtain this, was it worth it? Because It shows that, after being caught, he had nothing left on him as m1 had to freeze every asset of his to obtain back what he stole, and that this article indeed proved that.

Money is the root of all evil. Stay Happy even if you're poor, it's worth it.

Killer skeleton still around after 189 years.

This shocking article of Mary Halliwell finding out that she found a skeleton 189 years later of the son of her great great great grand father's brother. The skeleton, 'named' Jon Horwood, is found in Bristol University where his body is displayed in a cabinet.

Why is the skeleton kept there? well, after the lad was sentenced to death after spotting sweetheart Eliza Balsom with a new love and lobbing a pebble at her and accidentally killed her, the surgeon whom operated on Eliza Balsom, Dr Richard, smith publicly skinned the corspe of Jon Horwood, keeping his skeleton at his house before moving it to the bristol university, and he used the tanned skin from Jon Horwood to bind a book, called the "Book of Skin" is currently kept at the Bristol Records Office. The "Book of Skin" is currently kept at the Bristol Records Office.

However, Mary Halliwell launced a legal battle against Bristol university and won the legal rights to gain the skeleton back and she plans to bury the skeleton beside his family's burial plot in nearby Hanham.

This shows that human bestiality has been around far longer than we have ever knew and that we are fortunate that such death penalties do not happen anymore in the world, and that people who are sentenced to death would have died a more peaceful manner such as by hanging.

which is more important? Break time or saving a life?

The news of a shocking act of laziness cost a life of a 33 year old woman. An ambulance driver refused to give up his break time to save a life of a person who lives just two minutes away from the station but had another ambulance from 21 minutes away to do it.

Is this what the society is becoming? caring more of yourself rather than saving people's life? i know that not everyone is like this but however, such people are a waste to society. They are hired and they picked up the job with a dedication to save people's life, to at least try, but such people instead rather have their break time than to save people, is a few pounds worth a person's life? This kind of people should be left to work in jobs such as sweeping the streets and cleaning the toilets. they should be placed under the law for committing a crime in such an act.

The article did not mention whether was he being stripped of his job or what but i strongly stand firm on my opinions that he gets dealt with by the law and also to be removed of his post.

Wayne Rooney Saga

Sir Alex Ferguson has told Manchester United fans he wants to draw a line under last week's "traumatic" saga with Wayne Rooney.

The England striker said he wanted to leave the club, only to change his mind.

Rooney signed a new five-year deal on Friday just two days after saying he wanted to move elsewhere.

Ferguson said in the match programme for Tuesday night's Carling Cup match with Wolves: "It's been a traumatic time for Manchester United and no doubt everyone is as relieved as I am that the situation with Wayne Rooney has been resolved.

"We're delighted that he'll remain with us and he'll play a key part in our challenge for silverware on all fronts - both this season and in the years to come.

"Once the news came out that Wayne wanted to leave, the publicity and impact that had, and the response it generated, showed how big Manchester United is and that resonated with him quite a lot.

"Wayne apologised to me and the players and it's now time to draw a line under last week and face the challenges that lie ahead.

"We have a good squad, the unity and spirit is fine and the structure of the club is good. There is nothing wrong with United.

Wayne Rooney, an iconic superstar with everton football club since the age of 10, moved to manchester united 7 years later at the age of 17, and also a full international debut for england at the age of 17, wayne rooney is an england icon for english football. with many medals won in his short yet successful career, at the age of 25 he has won everything that any football player would dream of and could easily retire.

With a club such as manchester united so supportive of wayne rooney, he had his best season yet ever in the season of 2009-10 , scoring 34 goals in 44 appearances, meaning an average of 0.77 goals/match. with mancehster united so close of winning the league title and champions league , they ended up with only one trophy which is the carling cup medal. was that a reason on why he requested to leave? a player whom ferguson had sticked by the start of the season with his poor form , a mere 1 goal in 7 appearances, a far cry from his 0.77 strike rate just the previous season before.

Many people believed that now as players are powering over clubs over via their agents, rooney is a classic example of which his agent is forcing a best deal out of manchester united instead of just securing its long term future with its club, rooney is claimed to have been saying he wanted to leave due to the lack of united's big name signings and long term ambitions but it seems to be not true,

As ferguson has breeded a long list of legendary players with a small amount of money, with a huge return of trophies such as the treble won by united in 1999, with players such as paul scholes, beckham and ryan giggs, and in 2007 with cristiano ronaldo, whom costed the club a mere 12.5 million pounds, has seen him leave for real madrid in a world record 86million pounds deal, which shows that with recent purchases such as javier hernadez, bebe and chris smalling(all below the age of 20) for about 20 million pounds in total, ferguson is about to breed his new class of youth to glory and rooney is not certain about that.

I personally believe that rooney has a passion of football but however, money has blinded him and i believe his poor form is due to his contract's negotiation and that with this saga putted behind, rooney will find back his best form and be a threat to all the defenders playing against him, but however, his poor form will continue if his mind is stuck with the money that other clubs are willing to offer him and let it affect his form.
